about

(English below)

ENGLISH

Mburucuyá is the fruit of a musical meeting starring the political scientist and producer Nicolás Pfeifer, the guitarist and composer Gustavo Semmartín and the DJ and electronic producer Ezequiel Lodeiro. A particular trio made up of wills that come from different disciplines.

Mburucuyá creates his own time-space in which various styles of Argentine and South American folk tradition transcend in the language of electronics and the spirit of dub.

The passage of the tracks proposes at the same time a journey in which a series of landscapes follow each other with gentle stops for contemplation, and other more luminous ones, where men and women stand up to dance.

Mburucuyá is, of course, a coastline, but at the same time it is also an unlimited horizon and pampa, it is as much foothills as it is high plateau, and desert areas that are transformed into jungle.

This is how the milonga, the carnival, the huayno, the zamba, the gallop appear. The urban landscape is also present among the constituent elements, the daily environment of the artists' lives, and is expressed in traces of trip hop, dub, house, down tempo.
